Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or childcare coursework preferred
• Experience working with children in childcare or afterschool setting preferred
• Ability to work with multiple age groups; flexible, reliable, team-oriented
• Strong communication and classroom management skills; meet Georgia DECAL licensing requirements

Responsibilities

• Support classrooms as needed to maintain proper teacher-to-child ratios
• Assist lead teachers with daily routines, activities, and transitions
• Provide supervision and enrichment activities for afterschool students
• Create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children and encourage appropriate behavior
• Follow all licensing, safety, and Chroma Early Learning Academy policies
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom and shared spaces
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
