Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a dependable and energetic Floater / Afterschool Teacher to support classrooms throughout the day and supervise school‑age children after school. Qualifications

Chroma Early Learning Academy is a high-quality early education and childcare program serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years. Position Summary

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Support classrooms as needed to maintain proper teacher-to-child ratios
• Assist lead teachers with daily routines, activities, and transitions
• Provide supervision and enrichment activities for afterschool students
• Create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children and encourage appropriate behavior
• Follow all licensing, safety, and Chroma Early Learning Academy policies
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom and shared spaces
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or childcare coursework preferred)
• Experience working with children in a childcare or afterschool setting preferred
• Ability to work with multiple age groups
• Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to meet all Georgia DECAL and licensing requirements

Schedule

• Flexible hours; may include mornings, afternoons, and afterschool hours
• Additional hours available based on center needs
