Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking an After-School Program Leader (Floater) to provide flexible support across assigned program sites, stepping in as needed to cover staff absences and enrollment fluctuations.

You will work with groups of about 20 children from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with shifts varying by location, and collaborate with Site Coordinators to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive after-school experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Availability to work 1:00 PM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
• Experience in expanded learning programs or after-school settings preferred.
• Experience with K-12 youth is preferred.
• Ability to engage effectively with youth from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe and supportive environment for students.
• Promote an inclusive, welcoming culture.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities for whole-child development.
• Monitor attendance and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with the Site Coordinator and others to plan events.
