Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers seeks an energetic After-School Program Leader (Floater) in the Los Angeles area. The role supports multiple sites, provides safe, engaging activities for groups of about 20 youth, and reports to the Site Coordinator.

Availability is 1:00 PM–6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with shifts varying by location and occasional travel between sites. The position offers part-time hours, a competitive pay range, and opportunities for growth in a mission-driven organization serving TK-12

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in Child Development or Education preferred.
• Availability 1:00 PM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for students.
• Lead age-appropriate activities supporting social-emotional learning.
• Monitor attendance and student participation daily.
• Collaborate with Site Coordinator and Family Liaison to meet program goals.
• Travel between assigned sites as needed; shifts vary by location.
• Attend required trainings and uphold safety protocols.

Education
