Qualifications

• Active California RN or LVN license required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of clinical nursing experience in the past five years.
• 1+ year of acute care experience in the past five years.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Teaching or precepting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and/or theory instruction using approved course materials.
• Develop instructional strategies that engage students and promote clinical judgement.
• Evaluate student competency using established clinical and academic standards.
• Facilitate the integration of theory into clinical practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student grades, attendance, and performance.
• Lead pre- and post-clinical conferences to reinforce learning.
