Job summary

Golden Steps ABA is seeking an ABA therapist to provide one-on-one therapy with children and young adults in home and community settings. You will implement individualized behavioral plans, participate in BCBA trainings, and coordinate with families to support progress.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 6 months of ABA-related experience (or 1 year with disabilities), strong written and verbal communication, and reliable transportation for client visits.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication
• Willing to have a background check
• Must have a reliable car and driver's license for commuting to the home of clients
• Must possess a High School Degree
• Experience in roles such as nanny, teacher, paraprofessional, or similar supporting positions can help in transitioning to RBT

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism in home or community settings.
• Implement behavioral interventions and individualized treatment plans for children aged 2–21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent training as needed.
• Maintain professional boundaries with patients and families as per BACB guidelines.
• Enter data and log trials daily for all programs targeted.
• Remain available for supervision sessions and team meetings required by the BCBA.
