Job summary

Golden Steps ABA is seeking an ABA therapist to provide 1:1 therapy in home or community settings for children and young adults with Autism. You will implement individualized treatment plans and participate in BCBA trainings and team meetings to ensure high-quality care.

Applicants should have 6 months of ABA experience or 1 year working with children with disabilities; a high school diploma is required, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
Excellent writing and verbal communication.
Willing to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in home or community settings for ages 2–21.
Implement behavioral interventions and individualized treatment plans.
Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, and parent training as needed.
Maintain open communication with BCBA and team regarding treatment.
Receive supervision from BCBA at least 10% of services.
Maintain professional boundaries as per BACB guidelines.
Enter data and trials daily for each patient in programs.
Be available for supervision, phone calls, and team meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
