Job summary

United Care ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism in structured, skill-based settings. This role offers hands-on experience in behavioral health and child development, with supervision from a BCBA guiding your growth.

No prior experience is required, and students in psychology, social work, education, or pre-med tracks are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with a child with autism in home or community settings.
• Receive ongoing supervision and mentorship from a BCBA.
• Learn and apply the science of behavior (ABA) to support communication, social skills, and independence.
• Use de-escalation and regulation strategies to manage challenging behaviors.
• Support executive functioning like planning, transitions, and routines.
• Teach and reinforce daily living skills and track progress data.
• Document observations to build clinical thinking skills.
• Contribute to a supportive, skill-based learning environment.
