Candor is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students and schools while balancing work‑life. The role requires a Master's in Speech‑Language Pathology, active Texas licensure, and CCC‑SLP certification.

Bilingual skills are a plus but not required. You will evaluate students, communicate findings to parents and district staff, and develop evidence-based interventions in collaboration with the ARD committee.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active Texas license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear communication.
• Develop interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide therapy: Deliver services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress: Maintain detailed records and use data to adjust interventions.
• Support team: Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students’ programs.
