Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students and schools. This full-time, hybrid position offers starting pay of $55.00 per hour with options for full-time, part-time, or as-needed roles.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Bilingual skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations.
  • Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel.
  • Collaborate with the ARD committee to develop interventions.
  • Deliver therapy services directly or supervise assistants.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress.

Your Role:

As a Speech‑Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their educational settings. Here’s how you’ll contribute:

Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech‑language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.

Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.

Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence‑based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.

Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.

Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.

Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
