Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Machinist in Juneau, WI on 1st shift. The position is a direct-hire opportunity with a wage of $25-$28 per hour and flexible hours between 5am and 6pm. You will set up and operate manual/CNC machines and inspect parts to tight tolerances.

The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T basics, and hands-on machining experience. It offers a direct path to full-time employment within a growing manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Proficient reading mechanical blueprints and GD&T basics.
• Hands-on experience with manual machining; CNC experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines (mill, lathe, drill press, grinder, saw).
• Machine parts to tolerances using prints, CAD models, and work instructions.
• Inspect machined components with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
• Assemble mechanical components into sub-assemblies and finished equipment.
