Job summary

Home Instead in Charlottesville, VA is hiring caregivers for 12-hour day shifts. Build relationships with seniors, assist with daily activities, and help maintain independence in a compassionate home care setting.

Eligible applicants may have CNA/HHA/PCA experience or willingness to train, with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Excellent benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months caregiving experience or active CNA/HHA/PCA/DSP, or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise.
• Meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Light housekeeping and errands/transportation as needed.
