Job summary

Home Instead® Charlottesville, VA is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home senior care, including assistance with daily activities, mobility, and companionship. You will work with elderly or disabled clients in their homes or in nearby facilities, supporting dignity and independence.

We offer starting pay of $17 per hour, paid training, flexible hours, higher pay for nights and weekends, and benefits such as health, dental and vision insurance, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
