Penske is hiring full-time Class A CDL drivers in Indianapolis to support regional routes. Drive bread products to customers with weekly Midwest assignments and frequent home time.

You will use pre-stacked dollies, palletized loads, and a pallet jack; expect 5–10 stops weekly and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in the state of residence.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.

• Unload palletized loads with an electric pallet jack.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Earn up to $120000 annually
• $10000 Sign-On Bonus
• Regional travel required, with frequent home time and weekends
• $80 per diem for each day of travel

What you will do:

• This position requires the driver to travel regionally throughout the Midwest to work weekly assignments at various locations as needed
• Deliver bread products to customers using pre-stacked wheeled dollies, allowing for easy roll-off deliveries and roll-on returns, with no store deliveries required
• Bread products may be palletized and unloaded using an electric pallet jack
• Average 5 to 10 stops per week

Schedule:

• Start times vary based on the assignment and customer needs
• Travel to designated locations throughout the Midwest to support operational needs
• Flexibility is key, as schedules and work locations can change based on business demands

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
