Job summary

Penske Logistics in Plainfield, Indiana, is seeking full-time Class A CDL truck drivers to join our team. Expect regional deliveries across IN, KY, OH and TN with a 5-day work week, 8–12 stops weekly, and safety-focused operations.

Average annual pay is around $127,000 with additional safety incentives and driver referral bonuses. Comprehensive benefits start day one, including health care, retirement plans, life and AD&D insurance, and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver snack products regionally in IN, KY, OH and TN.
• Deliver to warehouses and storage facilities using a pallet jack and lift gate.
• Average 8 to 12 stops per week.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $127,000 annually

• Opportunities for extra routes per week depending on season and volume
• Additional safety incentives available, up to $2,500 annually

• Requires 1 to 2 layovers weekly

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
• Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Deliver snack products regionally in areas such as IN, KY, OH and TN
• Deliver product to warehouses and storage facilities using a manual pallet jack and lift gate
• Average 8 to 12 stops per week
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Schedule:

• 5 day work week: Sunday through Thursday
• Time off: Friday morning to Sunday night
• 1 to 2 layovers required per week
• PM dispatch

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
