Securitas, Inc. is hiring a Flex Security Officer's - Part Time in Springfield, MO. The role involves monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling multiple locations to enforce regulations and assist client employees and guests.

Wage is $17.00 per hour with a 2200–0500 shift. Requires at least a high school diploma and strong computer skills. Security experience is a plus, and pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Cover call offs.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Our Flex Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
