Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Full-Time Security FLEX Officer for a facility in Raritan, NJ. Starting salary is $22.00 per hour. The FLEX shift requires reliability, strong observation, and the ability to communicate clearly with the public.

Responsibilities include patrols on foot or vehicle, monitoring entrances, responding to incidents, and maintaining incident logs. Applicants must meet age, education, and licensing requirements and pass a background check and drug screen where permitted by

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, forbidden articles).
• Monitor entrances and exits and authorize entry for approved persons.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper exit procedures.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site post orders.
