Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Flex Security Officer for full-time work in Longview, WA. The role requires availability on any day with at least two shifts and placement at various site locations, with a wage of $22.00 per hour.

You will perform access control, patrol duties, and interact with clients and guests daily. The position emphasizes growth through training paths and development tools, plus comprehensive benefits and a supportive team culture designed to help you

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance during shifts.
• Able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

What Your Day May Look Like

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
