Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Decatur, IL is seeking a flex security officer to cover site needs on an as-needed basis. Officer will be paid a flat rate of $22.00 per hour, with no guaranteed hours per week; shifts start as early as 5:45 am and can run through 11:00 pm, across central Illinois locations including Springfield, Champaign, and Bloomington/Normal.

Job Skills / Requirements

Per Mar Security is seeking flex security officer based out of Decatur, IL. Officer will be paid a flat rate of $22.00 per hour, regardless of site worked. This position is on an 'as-needed' basis. There is no guarantee of a set amount of hours per week. Hours will be based on operational necessity.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older - required for dispensaries.
• Must have a valid driver's license, with MVR that falls within company driving history policy.
• Submit to a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to different accounts outside Decatur.
• Have availability and willingness to work a variety of shifts and days. Currently there are no overnight accounts. Shifts can start as early as 5:45 am, and as late as 11:00 pm.
• IL PERC card is preferred but not required.

Job Duties

• This officer will primarily assist with site coverage for call-offs, vacations, and temporary vacancies in central Illinois. Current cities with work sites include Springfield, Champaign, and Bloomington/Normal.
