Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking FLEX SECURITY OFFICERS to cover the Waterloo/Cedar Rapids/Iowa City, Iowa Areas. Interviews and onboarding occur at the Cedar Rapids branch. Candidates must be 18+, able to drive, and pass background checks and drug screens.

Shifts span early to late hours, with a flex pool path to full-time roles. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on client contracts, with shifts available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and MVR/drug screen.
• Must be available for first, second and third shifts.

We are looking to hire for FLEX SECURITY OFFICERS in the Waterloo/Cedar Rapids/Iowa City, Iowa Areas.

• Our Cedar Rapids branch covers: Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City & the surrounding areas. All interviews and onboardings must take place at our Cedar Rapids Branch.

Pay

Ranges from $16.00 - $22.00 an hour depending on assigned post (Rate is based on the client contract and varies from client to client).

Shift

Various hour needs, but primarily someone who is available to cover vacant shifts between 05:00-22:00 seven days a week. Some overnight shifts may be available as well.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a Federal State of Iowa background check, motor vehicle report and 4 panel drug screen.
• Must be available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. (Anyone with day/weekend shift restrictions need not apply.)
• Must come to the Cedar Rapids branch for interviews and potentially onboard.
• Shifts may come up on short notice.
• This opportunity is a great way to get your foot in the door for a full-time permanent position! We pick from the flex pool first for full-time positions as they become available.
