Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a Flex Security Officer!

Applicants need to be flexible with their schedule and willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays if needed. Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

$18-$20/hr on call 24/7

Requirements:

• Must have security experience
• Must have active NC Security License
• Must have a vehicle, a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years old
• Be available for 2nd & 3rd shift, including weekends

Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a security officer, security guard, or in other safety and protection-related fields, including customer service roles.

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet residents and guests promptly and courteously
• Manage guest/visitor access and eject trespassers when necessary
• Verify credentials of individuals and vehicles
• Document visitors and notify residents of arrivals
• Protect others and property, enforce policies
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism or theft
• Operate surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol premises to identify risks
• Warn violators of infractions
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and distress calls
• Report safety and security concerns promptly
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely
• Enforce rules and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• At least 25 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state licensing
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum one year of customer service experience
• Minimum one year of security experience
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Physical ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods
