Advocate Aurora Health Wisconsin Float Pool is seeking a Part-time Resource Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This role supports multiple facilities with self-scheduling, night shifts, and a 6-week rotation option across zones.

Requires RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, with at least 2 years ED experience. Opportunity to work across 5–7 Aurora Health facilities, with flexible staffing and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Additional: ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience.
• Weekend requirement: 1 weekend shift per schedule period.
• Holiday requirement: 1 holiday per year.
• Self-scheduled assignments, with 12 hours minimum per period.

WI Resource Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department FLEX

Zone 1 WI Resource Team Emergency Department RN

Where You Will Work: Aurora Health (now part of Advocate Health) WI Float Pool is a multi‑site resource team supporting Emergency Department (ED) care across the Wisconsin division. Float RNs provide adaptable, high‑quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational need. Teammates must be flexible, skilled, and ready to deliver exceptional care in a wide variety of settings.

We're Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Additional Certification needed: ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
• Weekend Requirement (Friday 1900 - Monday 0700): 1 Weekend Shift per 2 schedule period
• Holiday Requirement: 1 Holiday per year
• Schedule: Self-scheduled. Assignments may be day-to-day or long-term float placements. A minimum of 12 hours per scheduled period is required and may be met through a combination of 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts.

What You'll Do:

• Providing safe, therapeutic, evidence‑based nursing care in alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Demonstrating adaptability by floating to multiple care environments within a designated Zone, integrating quickly into new departments, and collaborating with diverse teams
• Leading efforts that support the safest patient environment and best possible patient experience
• Coordinating care for diverse patient populations within various acute‑care, hospital outpatient departments and clinic settings
• Maintaining the competency required to practice in all acute‑care facilities within the designated zone
