Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Flex Security Officer to join our full-time team at Hillsboro, OR. The position requires availability on 2nd and 3rd shifts and will be stationed at various site locations with a primary site in Hillsboro.

The officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment. Competitive hourly wage of $22.00.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong observation and communication abilities.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises and entry points to identify security risks.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying IDs and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and incidents.
• Enforce security protocols and company rules for premises, personnel, and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities and security breaches.

Objectives

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
