Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Security Guard Flex Night Shift Patrol to support multiple sites. The role offers 30–40 hours weekly with varying shifts, including nights and weekends, and a pay rate of $22.16 per hour.

Responsibilities include patrols on foot or vehicle, incident reporting, access control, emergency notifications, and customer service. Candidates must be 18+, HS diploma, pass background check and drug screen, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel the required distance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering or carrying forbidden articles
• Monitor entrances and exits and authorize access
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of items
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
