Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Security Officer Branch Flex Unarmed Patrol to support diverse client sites. This role offers 30–40 hours per week with variable shifts and the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift scheduling. You will perform patrols, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and provide courteous service while following post orders.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years of age (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug test required by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft of company property.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
