Job summary

Allied Universal® in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Security Officer Branch Flex Unarmed Patrol to protect client sites and maintain safety across a range of assignments. You will perform patrols on foot or by vehicle, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents while working in varying shifts.

Expect 30–40 hours per week with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Availability to work varying shifts including holidays, nights, weekends.
• Reliable transportation.
• Last-minute shift scheduling available.
• Eligible to travel required distances.
• Minimum 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular conditions creating security concerns or hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
