Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care and mentorship for 8-13 students, and help create a structured, family-like environment supporting academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role starts with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Benefits include salary per person, housing, and comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
