Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA‑SI) seeks an experienced MQ‑9 LRE Sensor Operator for the Aero Services Division. The role covers operation of the sensor/payload on the UAV, flight and ground operations, and crew coordination to ensure safe mission execution.

The position includes a flex deployment rotation with training duties, along with deployment compensation and full benefits. Candidates must be able to deploy CONUS/OCONUS and obtain required clearances.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5+ years (or 1,000+ hours) in UAV/aviation.
• Extensive UAV and FAA principles knowledge.
• Ability to obtain customer-specific security clearance.
• FAA Class II medical certificate eligibility and 500+ UAV hours.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Assist PIC in mission planning, briefing and debriefing.
• Operate UAV payload during ground and flight operations.
• Participate in production flight tests.
• Provide continuation training for aircraft systems.
• Instruct UAV students in operations.
