Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Locate, learn, and understand assembly instructions from procedures, drawings, and standard work instructions.

  • Adhere to work and safety rules.
  • Cooperate with 5S standards and maintain a safe, organized workplace.
  • Support team lead and contribute ideas for improvement.

Where is the work: On-Site (5 days)

SUMMARY

We are seeking a versatile and dependable Flex Team Member to support operations across the zone by providing coverage where needed and helping maintain productivity daily. This role is designed for an adaptable team member who will be cross trained across all jobs within the zone and able to step into multiple assignments based on business needs, staffing gaps, and operational priorities. In addition to supporting day-to-day staffing needs, this person will also contribute to process improvement activities, working with team members and leadership to identify opportunities to improve.

POSITION EXPECTATIONS
  • Locate, learn, and understand assembly instructions from procedures, drawings, and standard work instructions.
  • Verifies and inspects work according to standard work.
  • Perform quality checks and tests.
  • Use power, pneumatic, Smart torque and hand tools, where applicable.
  • Adhere to work and safety rules.
  • Good verbal communication
  • Supports and demonstrates a well-organized, safe, and clean workplace. Following 5S Standards
  • Understands, accepts, and supports the company’s vision and key business goals.
  • Basic understanding, support, and commitment to the team and continuous improvement by getting involved and actively contributing ideas for improvement.

  • This position is expected to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the building (assembly) of our product.
  • Ability to stand 8 - 10 hours Daily
  • Support Team Lead with task as assigned, and support as a backup to Team Lead
  • Required Trainings: Wiring Training, TWI Training, Hoist Training, ABC Safety & Quality Ranks
  • Attend at least one MDI Meeting weekly
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED

  • Leadership Principles- No corrective action/behavioral based in last 12 months

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $25.00

Compensation Type: Hourly
