Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our Fleet & Maintenance team in Bloomington, CA.

You will fabricate, repair, and modify truck bodies, trailers, frames, and fleet equipment using MIG, TIG, stick, and arc welding. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of welding experience in heavy truck or fleet environments, can read blueprints, and follows safety standards including OSHA.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; trade school certification in welding preferred.
• At least 3 years welding/fabrication experience in fleet or heavy-duty environments.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, stick and arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and modify truck bodies, trailers, frames, and fleet equipment using MIG, TIG, stick, and arc welding processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings to determine fabrication methods.
• Operate welders, plasma cutters, torches, grinders and other metal-forming tools safely and effectively.
• Perform structural repairs and reinforcements to ensure fleet safety and compliance with standards.
• Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure high-quality workmanship and safety.
