Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years welding/fabrication experience in heavy truck or fleet maintenance.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, stick, and arc welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and modify truck bodies, trailers, frames, and fleet equipment.
• Read blueprints and determine fabrication methods and welding techniques.
• Operate welders, plasma cutters, torches, grinders and other tools safely.
• Inspect welds for quality and collaborate with mechanics on repairs.
