Job summary

Goodyear in District Heights, MD is hiring a Fleet Automotive Technician for a 4-day day shift (6:00 AM–6:00 PM) with weekly pay. You will service DOT and client vehicles, perform oil changes, tire services, inspections, diagnostics, and brake work, and pursue advanced repairs as needed.

Requirements include at least 2 years of DOT-regulated experience, a valid license, and DOT physical; DOT Brake Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience performing DOT regulated inspections and brake services.
• DOT Brake Certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventive maintenance at client site.
• Oil changes, tire services, inspections, diagnostics, brake repairs, and fluid exchanges.
• Preventive maintenance, tire installation, and advanced repairs.
• State inspections and on-the-job training as needed.
