Job summary

Goodyear Fleet Service Centers in District Heights, MD is hiring a Night Shift Automotive Technician. You will service DOT vehicles and delivery vans, perform oil changes, tire work, inspections, diagnostics, and brake repairs at a client site. DOT certification is required within 30 days if not already held, with Goodyear assisting to obtain it.

This full-time role offers a 4-day work week and weekly pay. Qualified candidates will have a valid driver’s license, be at least 21, and pass DOT

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience performing qualified DOT inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Preferred ASE Certification and experience diagnosing vehicles.
• Experience with road tests, electrical, A/C and fuel systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve delivery vans and DOT vehicles with preventive maintenance at a client site.
• Perform oil changes, tire services, inspections, diagnostics, brake repairs and fluid work.
• Conduct advanced repairs and state inspections as needed.
• Training may occur in a customer retail environment before client site work.
