Job summary

Penske Vehicle Services in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Porter to support mechanical, paint, quality and vehicle operations. The Porter may move vehicles on public roads between locations or organize vehicles in lots on ground.

The role requires a HS diploma, a good driving record, and the ability to drive a manual transmission (preferred but not required). You’ll work a 6am - 2:30pm schedule, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent driving record (less than 4 points).
• Ability to drive a manual transmission (preferred but not required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Parking lot organization of vehicles in accordance with lot numbering.
• Move company vehicles to appropriate location.
• Fuel, vacuum, and clean/wash company vehicles.
• Perform physical inspections of used vehicles.
• Assist in the exchange process of vehicles being dropped off or picked up.
• Reconciling VIN numbers and inventory records.
• Filing vehicle paperwork and other office tasks.
• Follow all company policies relating to safe driving.
• Other duties deemed necessary by management.
