Job summary

GLS North America in Auburn Hills, MI is hiring a Porter to wash, detail, fuel, and stage vehicles for delivery. You’ll work with a team to keep the lot organized and ensure every vehicle is customer-ready in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, weekends off. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off after 30 days.

Qualifications

• You’re at least 18 years old.
• You have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• You’re dependable and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You have strong attention to detail and take pride in your work.
• You’re comfortable working outdoors and staying active throughout the day.
• You can meet the company’s background check and drug screen requirements.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through the car wash, then dry and detail them.
• Stage and organize vehicles throughout the lot.
• Fuel vehicles as needed.
• Install license plates.
• Transport vehicles to auction lots.
• Perform final inspections to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery.
• Help maintain a clean and organized vehicle yard.
• Assist with additional operational tasks as needed.
