Non-Profit Company S is seeking a skilled vehicle/maintenance technician to repair, service, and overhaul buses, vans, and cars. The role includes coordinating with vendors, maintaining facilities, and ensuring safety compliance under DOT/FTA guidelines.

Responsibilities span preventative maintenance, budgeting support, and documenting work orders. A valid Texas DL and CDL proficiency are required, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; trade certificate preferred.
• One year certificate in auto mechanics and at least one year related experience.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and ability to obtain Class C CDL.
• Must pass initial and annual trainings including Defensive Driving and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsabilidades

• Repair, service, and maintain vehicles per preventative schedule.
• Overhaul and replace components on buses, vans, and cars.
• Coordinate with Supervisor and third-party vendors for outsourced repairs.
• Enter work orders and track maintenance in the system.
• Perform routine building and facility maintenance.
• Assist with budget preparation and reports.
