Job summary

The Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL) is seeking a maintenance/cleaning worker to wash and disinfect fleet vehicles and equipment, assist mechanics, and maintain the work area. The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months and pass required tests.
• 1–2 years vehicle/equipment cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely cleans and disinfects BWL vehicles and equipment and assists mechanics.
• Follows safety rules and uses PPE as required.
• Attends safety trainings and keeps work area tidy.
