Responsibilities include data analysis of fleet metrics, regulatory compliance, and developing dashboards for leadership. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in fleet/logistics, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with fleet software and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Stay current on regulations governing fleet operations (inspections, emissions, licensing).
  • Analyze data on fleet performance, fuel use, maintenance costs, and utilization.
  • Improve fleet performance with KPI-driven insights across leadership.
  • Organize and maintain fleet telematics requirements.
  • Track replacement timelines and coordinate with fleet management.

Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical vehicle fleet analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing fleet management tools to optimize fleet performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness to meet the organization's fleet needs throughout the entire fleet. This will be completed by collaborating with branch managers, territory directors, safety team, and fleet management team.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local regulations governing fleet operations, including vehicle inspections, emissions standards, and driver licensing requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to fleet performance, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and vehicle utilization.
  • Partner with business leaders within the organization to improve fleet performance based on KPI's relating to maintenance, vehicle uptime, & repair turnaround times.
  • Organizing & maintaining the fleet telematic needs.
  • Tracking when vehicles need replacement & working with fleet management to complete & maintain this process.
  • Collaborate with PGW safety team to acquire new & up to date safety features.
  • Evaluate fleet management process & work with our leaders to improve process.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
  • Partner with fleet management provider & business leaders to engineer future vehicle needs & order needs.
  • Managing License & title needs per the fleet requirements.
  • Monitor fleet industry technology to improve overall fleet safety & performance.
  • Collaborate with vehicle upfitters to design and implement delivery truck specifications & requirements.
  • Monitor & track vehicles throughout the build process to ensure specifications & timelines are met at final delivery.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers, including negotiating contracts and service agreements.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Aptitude with communicating with various levels throughout the organization.
  • Excellent track record of providing superb customer service.
  • \"A self-starter\" who can seek our resolutions on their own.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office products-Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software & GPS tracking systems.
  • Willing to travel as needed, less than 25%.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Prefer a minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related field.
