Located in our Boise, ID office, Great West, An Old Republic Company is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support our underwriting team and deliver exceptional service to agents and insureds.

You will review new and renewal fleet applications, analyze underwriting data, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure accurate coverage and efficient policy administration, with exposure to endorsements, renewals, and monthly reporting.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six years of progressive clerical experience required; insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in underwriting, insurance operations, or related administrative environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and process complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and business systems.

Mansioni

• Reviewing and preparing new and renewal fleet applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Gathering and analyzing underwriting data including loss runs and reports.
• Communicating with agents, insureds, and internal stakeholders about coverage and policy administration.
• Processing bind orders and maintaining complete policy documentation.
• Assisting with renewals, cancellations, retention, and monthly reporting follow-ups.
• Reviewing, rating, and processing endorsements and policy changes.
• Providing training support and backup for underwriting operations.
