Job summary

Foresight Group is seeking a Commercial Insurance Underwriting Assistant (WEST Region) to provide operational and administrative support across the commercial policy lifecycle. You will work with Underwriters and cross-functional teams to ensure submissions, files, and policy transactions are complete and processed efficiently using our technology-enabled MGA environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in commercial insurance, underwriting support or related roles.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/workflow platform.
• Familiarity with submissions, rating, loss runs, policy docs, renewals and/or binding processes.

Responsibilities

• Process new and renewal business from submission through rating, underwriting review, binding, and servicing.
• Review submissions for completeness and obtain missing information.
• Enter and validate submission, account, and policy data in Salesforce and underwriting systems.
• Assist with rating activities, loss run review, LRT prep, and underwriting docs.
• Prepare files and referrals for Underwriter review with complete info.
• Track outstanding underwriting requirements and follow up to move submissions.
• Maintain underwriting files and audit trails per policies and regulations.
• Support data quality using underwriting technology and automation.
• Assist broker/producer requests and escalate questions as needed.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve processing issues.
• Assist with reporting and other underwriting support tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
