U-Haul is seeking a preventive maintenance technician to service Ford and GMC trucks in Brockton, MA. You’ll receive training through our Technician Training Program and can participate in a paid hands-on interview with a $100 hiring bonus.

The role emphasizes safety, team collaboration, and career growth in a family-oriented environment. You will use proprietary tools to assess field vehicles, with opportunities for advancement as the fleet expands yearly.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
• Basic computer skills.
• Regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Assist in additional areas as directed by supervisor.
