Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
• 2–4 years of transportation or related experience.
• Knowledge of DOT and safety regulations; experience with fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff including staffing, training, coaching and performance management.
• Rides with drivers for training and evaluation and assists in scheduling.
• Assists in daily administration of transportation and delivery functions; reviews logs and expenses.
• Ensures driver safety and DOT/compliance; maintains trip logs and DVIRs.
• Coordinates driver information such as license status and accidents.
• Ensures delivery paperwork and truck maintenance records are completed.
• Supports cost control by efficient routing and reducing expenses.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
