Job summary

Nuage Designs is seeking a Transportation & Fleet Manager to lead all transportation operations supporting event installations, deliveries, and pickups. You will oversee fleet, drivers, dispatch, and compliance, ensuring safe, efficient, on-time execution for client events.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in transportation leadership, strong DOT/HOS knowledge, route optimization, and customer service excellence. Collaboration with warehouse, operations, and account management is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of transportation, fleet management, or dispatch leadership.
• Minimum 3 years managing commercial drivers.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, Hours of Service (HOS), OSHA regulations.
• Experience with route planning, dispatch systems, and GPS fleet technology.
• Leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily transportation operations, dispatch activities, and fleet scheduling.
• Develop, coordinate, and optimize delivery and pickup routes based on schedules and client needs.
• Monitor routes in real-time and adjust to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure on-time delivery with high-level customer service.
• Coordinate schedules with warehouse and installation teams to ensure proper staging and delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for transportation-related issues and resolve challenges quickly.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing driver team.
• Conduct driver evaluations and provide coaching.
• Lead transportation meetings and communicate priorities.
