Job summary

Xcel Energy Services Inc. is seeking a supervisor for fleet training to oversee general access, safety, onboarding, and leadership development training programs.

You will manage instructors, set performance standards, and coordinate with nuclear and regulatory training teams to maintain compliance and continuous improvement. The role requires experience in nuclear training environments, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead diverse teams across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of systematic approach to training and regulatory guidelines as applicable.
• Experience with nuclear training programs or facilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise fleet instructors, establish performance goals, monitor performance, provide feedback, and assist in their professional development.
• Assist in budgeting, staffing, strategic planning, and reporting to meet station and fleet training needs.
• Set standards and monitor the implementation of the systematic approach to training to ensure it is consistently applied and compliant.
• Supervise the conduct of training and address instructor performance issues as needed.
• Participate in fleet, site, industry, and regulator training initiatives such as workshops and assessments.
