Job summary

TForce Freight, Inc. is seeking a trailer repair technician to perform preventative maintenance and diagnose repairs on TFF Transportation Trailers and converter dollies. The role requires hands-on work with air brake and electrical systems, and a willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

You must bring your own tools and be prepared to work in varying conditions. Candidates should have trailer mechanic experience, ability to use diagnostic tools and PCs, and must be able to operate standard

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Current trailer mechanic experience
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and tools
• Must have a full set of personal hand tools
• Employer will not sponsor visas

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and converter dollies
• Diagnose and repair non-power equipment including air brake and electrical systems
• Operate standard/manual transmission and power tools
• Wear required personal protective equipment
• Possess PITO certification or meet requirements to obtain it
• Work in variable temperatures and conditions, including exposure to dust and noise
• Communicate effectively to maintain safety and efficiency
