Job summary

TForce Freight is seeking a Trailer Repair technician for Fleet Operations in Orlando. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and converter dollies, including air brake and electrical systems. The position requires personal tool ownership and willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Candidates must have current trailer mechanic experience and be able to operate standard tools and diagnostic equipment. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Current documented trailer mechanic experience
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and a PC
• Must provide a full set of personal hand tools
• Employer will not sponsor visas

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and dollies
• Diagnose and repair non-power equipment, incl. air brakes and electrical systems
• Work with shifts (2nd or 3rd) as required
• Use standard diagnostic tools and hand tools safely
• Follow PPE requirements and safety procedures
• Operate equipment and tools as trained and meet PITO cert requirements
