OnTrac is seeking a Fleet Trailer Maintenance Technician II for an evening shift in Commerce, CA. The role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fleet trailing equipment to meet federal, state, and company standards. The job emphasizes safety and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to fleet trailing equipment.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company safety programs.
• Coordinate with Safety leadership to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Possibly use personal or company vehicle to conduct business.
• Perform housekeeping and general equipment clean-up as needed.
• Support variable duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Monday to Friday from 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Schedule subject to change based on the needs of the business)

Compensation

The expected starting base pay range for this position is $30.07- $37.59 with a full potential base salary range over a successful candidate's tenure in the position of $30.07- $45.11. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job related factors.

This position may also be eligible for shift differentials, overtime pay, or other forms of additional compensation, in accordance with applicable Company policies and law.

The Fleet Trailer Maintenance Technician II will ensure all fleet trailing equipment is inspected, maintained, and repaired in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as company standards and will ensure a safe working environment for all. The Must-Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• 2+ year of related experience and/or training in a mechanical setting, or an equivalent combination of education and specific work experience
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
• Experience as a semi-trailer maintenance technician highly preferred
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting/moving items up to 125 pounds and working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• This position works outdoors in the elements; OnTrac provides PPE for all weather conditions
• The physical activity associated with this role is considered high
• You will regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging up to 125 pounds
• You will frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle or feel
• You may occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
• The employee is regularly required to talk or hear
• Responsibilities, duties, and working conditions may be revised based on business needs, emergencies, staffing, or workload

• Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
• Maintain, and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to fleet trailing equipment.
• Work with Safety department leadership to understand and ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed.
• May be required to use personal vehicle or Company vehicle to conduct business for the company.
• Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.

• You possess knowledge of industrial conveyor controls and related I/Os.
• You possess knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), PMs (Preventative Maintenance), and 3-phase electrical work.
• You must have a good driving record and be able to pass an MVR.
