Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Georgetown, OH is seeking a Tire Technician to maintain the tires of our vehicle fleet and support spill response duties.

You will inspect tires, wheels, and related components, replace worn parts, mount/dismount tires, and keep inventory organized while adhering to safety and DOT regulations.

This role requires a valid DOT medical card, a valid driver's license where applicable, and willingness to work nights and weekends on a Sunday-Thursday schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year tire service experience, heavy vehicle wheels preferred.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain before hire.
• Able to read and speak English and communicate with customers.
• Valid driver's license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet tires and related components per schedules.
• Inspect tires, wheels, and related parts on schedule.
• Mount/dismount tires and perform tire-related roadside replacements.
• Keep tire inventory and shop areas organized.
• Record repair orders and parts usage in the computer.
• Assist in other areas of vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.
