Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Vehicle Tire Technician to service the fleet’s tires and respond to spill-related tasks. The role focuses on tire inspection, replacement, mounting/dismounting, and maintaining inventory while following safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to move, stack, and store wheels, tires, and other heavy components
• Able to use torque and impact wrenches
• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized
• Familiarity with using a computer
• Ability to professionally interact with internal and external customers

Responsibilities

• Maintain tires of fleet vehicles in a safe manner per regulations and policies
• Inspect fleet tires, wheels, and related components
• Identify and replace worn/damaged tires and components
• Mount and dismount tires
• Perform tire-related roadside replacement
• Maintain tire inventory and tools
• Perform routine housekeeping in tire area
• Respond to spills and clean with appropriate equipment
• Assist in other areas of the vehicle maintenance shop as needed
• Maintain records (time, repair orders, parts usage) on computer
• Perform other duties as assigned
