Job summary

Purcell Tire & Service Centers in Jonesboro, AR, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell commercial, truck, and OTR tires and retreads, building strong relationships with fleets. You will perform fleet surveys, tire analyses, mileage tracking, and reporting; meet sales quotas; maintain a clean, safe image; and collaborate with management to maximize margins and growth.

A valid driver’s license and 3–5 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Tire industry knowledge including brands, designs, treads, safety and procedures.
• Customer service knowledge for needs assessment and satisfaction.
• Mathematics knowledge for arithmetic and statistics.
• Sales and marketing knowledge for promotion, product demonstration and sales control.

Responsibilities

• Sell commercial, truck, and OTR tires including retreads.
• Perform fleet surveys, tire analysis, mileage tracking and reporting.
• Resolve customer concerns or complaints as they arise.
• Follow pricing policies to maintain margins.
• Meet sales quotas set by supervisor.
• Maintain a clean vehicle reflecting corporate image.
• Maintain telephone answering techniques and solicit new accounts.
• Report information to Purcell’s sales management tool.
• Protect company assets and embrace safety culture.
